IEEE is very strict about the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. ICIA provides a PDF eXpress site for its authors to check PDF Xplore compliance and/or obtain Xplore-compatible files through its Source File Conversion function. Please visit the ICIA 2008¨s PDF eXpress page for details on how to make use of this tool. Alternatively, if you choose to convert PDF yourself, please follow the detailed instructions in IEEE PDF File Preparation Guide for IEEE Xplore that describes the essential steps in distilling PDFs with Acrobat that meet the IEEE requirements. The most important issue that every author shall pay attention to is to make sure that all the fonts used in your papers are EMBEDDED and SUBSETTED, especially for papers from Asia and Europe. Papers that are IEEE Xplore PDF compliant in the final submission may be rejected.
